Plus, I know that some people prefer to do the sketch, line art and basic coloring on SAI or CSP and then the special effects on PS, which sounds great actually. I'm relatively new to art by itself (heres the link to one of my recent drawings ( ), so perhaps I'm the problem, but I do see many people saying that artists should use SAI or CSP, at least for sketches and line arts, instead of PS, mostly because of how well they handle brushes and stuff. However, I always felt the way it handles brushes a little odd, probably because it was meant to be an image editing program, not a drawing one. Are there any tutorials or texture installation guides? I shouldnt have to do this for a product I paid for.Since I moved from traditional to digital drawing, I've always used Photoshop, because of its relevance in the market, features and the fact that I already was used to it.
Even the way its set up is extremely different. I will show an image of what my settings have. This person has "Form" and Textures I do not. I also cant find any sai 2 tutorials on the matter. Ive attempted to install the missing textures.
Such as form settings, and lots of textures. Now, I like to look up pen settings others use to try them out myself, but when doing so ive noticed im missing a lot of features. So, ive been using Sai 2 for quite a while now(Licence version, yes I paid for it), but decided to get the latest update and see whats new.
